“She will give more than lip service to important issues in our community, listening to our citizen as well as our police and fire departments. This entrepreneur and former business owner truly sees people, not color. We need leaders like Saga Stevin, who will keep her word and not waffle from outside pressure. I support Saga Stevin for Lakeland Mayor. She is an independent thinker who wants to help all of us keep Lakeland, Lakeland, even as we move ahead economically”
- Lakeland Commissioner Neil Combee
Lakeland City Commissioner Neil Combee is clear that, “Saga Stevin, raised right here in Lakeland, is the strong Christian, fiscal conservative who can help us keep Lakeland affordable. Her hands-on business experience will help keep taxes low and support local businesses as we recover from a year of national unrest exacerbated by Covid. Electing Saga Stevin as Mayor will give us a voice of reason as we work to keep every neighborhood free from crime, give our first responders the tools they need to be successful and keep Lakeland moving forward. Lakeland needs a strong leader like Saga Stevin. I am proud to endorse her candidacy for Mayor.“
- Lakeland Professional Firefighters
“After careful consideration, the Lakeland Professional Firefighters is pleased to announce our endorsement of Saga Stevin for Lakeland Mayor. We are particularly appreciative of your belief that public safety infrastructure must grow with the City, because “playing catch-up” presents unnecessary risk to the public and the members.
We’re looking forward to working with you…and improving upon the great services provided by the Lakeland Fire Department.”
